Farm & Ranch Films was born from a deep respect for the families who have built their lives on the land. Through Heritage Films, we have spent years capturing the legacies of incredible people and preserving their stories for future generations. Along the way, we realized something important. We had told more than 200 stories of farmers and ranchers, and each one carried a unique depth, resilience, and connection to the land that set them apart.

These films were never just about history. They were about heritage, grit, and tradition, passed down through generations. What we learned is that while these families want to preserve their stories, what truly matters most to them is passing down their values. The principles that built their ranches and  legacies are what they hope will live on.

We've had the privilege of learning from these great families, and we take those lessons to heart. We apply the same traditional values of family, faith, hard work, respect, diligence, and patriotism to our filmmaking. These qualities shape everything we do, from the way we tell stories to the way we honor those who entrust us with their history.

Chance McClain, an Army veteran, founded Heritage Films and Farm & Ranch Films as family-owned businesses with one mission: To make sure the values of the past are passed to the generations of the future. Through cinematic interviews, breathtaking footage of working ranches, and carefully curated archival materials, we do more than preserve stories. We ensure that future generations will always remember where they came from.
